Collaborative Inquiry Cycle in NLPS

Using collaborative inquiry, we start by using evidence of student learning to decided where the learning needs of our student are. This rich information tells us where we as teachers need to focus our own professional learning. Along with the learning piece, inquiry is about taking a new action – doing something different in our teaching in response to our new learning and what we know about student needs. From there we check and re-check using evidence of student growth to inform future actions. Working together with and learning along side our colleague is a vital part to Collaborative Inquiry.
