ASSAI Teen Program

What is ASSAI?

ASSAI, the After School Sport and Arts Initiative, is a ministry initiative to provide students with fun, safe, accessible and high-quality after school programming to BC students.

ASSAI programs are designed specifically to reduce barriers to participation that children may face due to financial, social, cultural, behavioural, geographical, and other factors.

Objective of the High School After School Sport and Arts Initiative:

The ASSAI program for high school students aims to encourage participation in extracurricular activities in a safe and welcoming space for students who identify as female or non-binary in grades 8-12.

The intention of this program is to provide an opportunity for students who face barriers to participate in extracurricular activities.

Please contact the NLPS Community School Coordinator for more information and an application package.
