Salish  Weave

Salish Weave in NLPS

The Salish Weave collection was donated to NLPS by the University of Victoria. Each piece of Coast Salish art tells it’s own story which can be embedded into any subject area to help form a rich learning experience for students.    

The collection has been divided into themes with various pieces and activities. To take a closer look, please click here. The collection can be signed out to schools via the Indigenous Education Collection in Destiny. To order, please contact districtcollections@sd68.bc.ca.
